Lana's passion for horses brought her to study the foundation programme in Equine Performance. She chose Hartpury for the prospect of working and learning about the horses at Hartpury, matters influencing their performance and the exposure to other areas of equine.

"I knew I had to come to Hartpury the moment I left the open day. I've been exposed to numerous modules from other equine degrees and made friends across my cohort. Lecturers are reputable and passionate and go out of their way to interactively provide core knowledge and share industry awareness, giving me confidence in my knowledge and horse-riding abilities. I love meeting people, watching sports and going on scenic walks, allowing myself some downtime. Be prepared to say yes to every opportunity and take the leap because you don't know which life-changing thing you could miss out on."
