Our beautiful 360-hectare campus offers a stunning place to live and study. First year undergraduate students are guaranteed accommodation.*

Our vibrant and friendly campus is the perfect choice if you want to be close to your lectures and our facilities, including our livery yard, gym, sports facilities, laundry rooms and student bar, Legends. We offer self-catered halls, standard and large rooms, all with en-suite facilities and Wi-Fi. Accessible rooms are available, please just let us know when you apply.

 You can apply for Hartpury accommodation whether you've made your firm choice or are still considering your options. Remember: First year undergraduate students are guaranteed accommodation.*

However, accommodation won't be allocated until you have made us your firm choice.

We’ve put together a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you get prepared.

Campus Accommodation Outside

When you take up the accommodation offered, the £130 holding deposit will form 50% of the damage deposit. When you enrol in September, a further payment of £130 will be taken. The total damage deposit is £260.

If your room cancellation occurs before 26 July 2024, your full deposit will be refunded. If the room cancellation occurs on or after 27 July 2024 there will be no refund of the deposit, unless the cancellation is due to Hartpury not offering you a place on a course.

You’ll be issued one invoice for the year which is payable by recurring card payment. Instalments are either:

  • The start of each term - three instalments over the year. Payments at the start of each term will be for the number of weeks in the term.
  • Monthly from October to May - eight instalments over the year. Your individual payment schedule will be communicated to you after you move in to your accommodation.

*Students living within a 15 mile radius of Hartpury are expected to commute and applications will only be considered from these students if vacancies occur after rooms have been allocated to all applicants living outside this radius. How to get around

As a Hartpury student, there are loads of ways you can get around and explore Gloucestershire. You can hop on one of the shuttle buses that stop regularly on campus. If you ride a bike, you can store it in our secure bike sheds on campus. We also offer on-campus parking and discounted rates with local taxi firms.
