Emerging science and technology will allow you to understand animal performance to a greater extent as you study. All of our training methods are underpinned by the strictest ethics and supported by the latest scientific evidence, prioritising the physical and psychological needs of animals to enhance wellbeing and performance.
You’ll be presented with the key scientific principles at the forefront of animal training, performance and rehabilitation and you'll have the chance to undertake an independent research project in your area of interest. This will enable you to delve deeper into a topic you care about and contribute to research that’s making a difference to the lives of animals.
Academic requirements
- A pass at Foundation Degree or HND relating to animal structure, function, nutrition, exercise physiology, management practices

Non-academic options
- Direct entry into Level 6 can be subject to interview and approval of prior content covered
- Previous learning towards a university-level qualification or relevant work experience may count as credit for this course
International students
- We welcome applications from international students and accept international qualifications at equivalent levels to the above

Your career
Your course will be made up of two semesters, within which you’ll study compulsory and optional modules on different industry-focused topics, enabling you to develop your own unique portfolio of knowledge, skills and experience, ready for your career. The course is taught in English.
