Hartpury University alum secures digital marketing role at Point-to-Point Authority

A former BSc (Hons) International Horseracing Business student from Hartpury University has secured a new role as Digital and Content Marketer at the Point-to-Point Authority (PPA).

Tiggy Vale-Titterton joined the organisation in January. She has around seven years of marketing experience, having both agency and client-side. Tiggy was Head of Communications for trainer Dan Skelton for three years, focusing on owners’ experience and original content production, quickly building their social media presence and improving overall external and internal communications.

In addition, she has been involved in marketing at both Warwick and Cheltenham racecourses and had spells with trainers Adrian Wintle and Paul Webber Racing.

Paul Miller, PPA Chief Executive said: “We are delighted to find someone of Tiggy’s calibre, with the skills and experience the PPA team have needed for a long time. She has exactly the profile we wanted and joins at an exciting time as we implement our new marketing strategy to grow the sport. Her experience in producing original and engaging content, particularly interviews and video geared to social media, will be invaluable in achieving our objectives”.

Reflecting on her time at Hartpury University, Tiggy said: “I loved every moment of my three years at Hartpury. From day one, I felt part of a family, something that has stayed with me long after graduating in 2020. The BSc (Hons) International Horseracing Business degree provided me with invaluable knowledge, hands-on experiences and industry connections that have been instrumental in my career. The incredible trips to Ireland, the British Racing School and the National Stud - to name just a few, offered unique insights into the industry and unforgettable experiences. Hartpury is more than just a university; it’s a community that supports you every step of the way.”

Laura Friend, Programme Manager of both racing degrees at Hartpury University said: “We always enjoy following the success of our students after they’ve graduated and we’re so proud of Tiggy who is leveraging the diverse business skills that our International Horseracing Business degree offers. It is a privilege to be able to celebrate Tiggy’s achievement as she is a great role model for our current students and, a shining example of what our graduates can achieve.

“Tiggy is not only highly skilled in her marketing and communications skills but is hugely passionate about horseracing and equestrianism in general, and we know she will be incredibly successful in the new role. Congratulations from us all at Hartpury University.”

Hartpury University also offers a BSc (Hons) Racehorse Performance and Rehabilitation degree, allowing students to pursue their specific interests within this dynamic industry.
