The Hartpury Netball Academy has once again proven its dominance by becoming back-to-back Regional Schools champions. The team showcased exceptional skill and determination, bringing the trophy back to Hartpury College with an impressive series of victories.

- Game 6: Hartpury College vs. Truro School – 29-4 win
- Semi-Final: Hartpury College vs. Marlborough College – 18-2 win
- Final: Hartpury College vs. Millfield School – 15-9 win
Scoring a total of 160 goals and conceding only 47, the team demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the tournament held at Sir David English Sports Centre in Bournemouth. The victory has secured their place in the National Schools Final in Sheffield on 15 March, where they aim to defend their title as reigning National Schools champions.
Holly Duerden, Netball Academy Manager at Hartpury University and College praised the players for their exceptional performance and the positive atmosphere they created both on and off the court. She said: “The girls were outstanding all day. Not just on the court, but the atmosphere and culture off the court too attracted much praise from our South West competitors. It makes me so proud to be part of this special group and wider sporting community at Hartpury.”
The team will now enter a rigorous six-week training block to prepare for the National School Finals, with the goal of defending their national title and achieving back-to-back national championships.

Students who are part of the Netball Academy learn from seasoned coaches who hold qualifications and experience at the national and international levels, all while actively participating in the UK Netball Super League. Coaches help students to train and complete while they study. As a current Team Bath Athlete Development Centre and home to players from various national superleague franchises and the Welsh Pathway, the academy is equipped to support both franchise and pathway choices, with guidance provided to optimise netball career success.
