Our online store offers a convenient way for you to shop and pay for products, services, conferences, short courses and events. Hartpury clothing cannot be bought through this store.

We have worked alongside Hartpury University for a number of years to provide students with the books recommended on all courses at specially reduced prices.

Our clothing partners JS Teamwear add that personal touch to everything they produce. They don't sub-contract their work, so have very high quality-control standards. 

We've put over 70 years of sporting history into our sport and leisure range. Designed in partnership with our kit supplier, Elite Pro Sports, we've produced products designed for everyone.

Transport services for current students

Our Home-to-College bus service booking platform is managed by smart transportation company, Zeelo. Users can create an account via the Zeelo website, browse our routes, find your closest bus stop, check the cost, and book your annual ticket and collection point via the Zeelo website.* Your ticket will be an easy-to-access QR code on your phone, that the driver will scan when you board the bus.

Important Dates:

Ticket Purchase: Available for both new and returning students via the Zeelo/Hartpury booking platform. Applications close on 24 August 2024. Access the booking platform here.

Cancellations:

  • Year 2 Students: Cancel by 31st July for a full refund.
  • New Year 1 Students: Cancel by 24th August for a full refund. Cancellations after these dates are only permitted for students moving into accommodation or if a place at Hartpury is not offered.

Shuttle Bus Service to Gloucester

Our shuttle bus service runs regularly between Hartpury campus and Gloucester, with reduced services on weekends and during the summer.

  • Weekday service: operating 6.35am to 10pm every 45/60minutes.

The weekday service is operated by Zeelo, fares can only be purchased through the Zeelo app. The route varies slightly on Saturday, make sure you check the timetable to ensure you’re at the correct collection point. A full timetable, including the adjusted timetable during flooding, is available on the Zeelo website: Hartpury College Shuttle Service | Zeelo.

  • Saturday service: operating 6.30am to 4.45pm every 45/60minutes.
  • Sunday service: operating 12.15pm to 5.45pm every 45/60minutes.

The Saturday and Sunday service are operated by Hartpury University and is free to use, you do not need to book. The Sunday route varies from the weekday and Saturday routes, make sure you check the timetable to ensure you’re at the correct collection point.

Public buses

Stagecoach Bus #351: This bus travels from Gloucester to Tewkesbury, stopping at Hartpury on the main A417 outside campus, Monday to Saturday.

Subsidised Bus Pass: If you're under 19 as of 31 August of the year you enrol, you may be eligible for a subsidised bus pass through your Local Education Authority. Applications should be made directly to the council.

Cycling to Hartpury

We encourage students to reduce their carbon footprint by cycling. Secure bicycle sheds are available on campus. You will need to pay a deposit for a key to a bicycle shed, through our online shop. Once you have paid you can visit main reception (Student Services) and collect your key.

Routes

If you choose to cycle, please be cautious on the main road (A417) entering Hartpury as there is no direct segregated cycle path to campus all the way from Gloucester. However, you can use the National Cycle Network, route 41 and route 45 to reach the campus from Cheltenham and Gloucester. This route is a combination of segregated cycle paths, tow paths and on-road sections between Maisemore and Hartpury campus where you will share the road with vehicles may be driving 50-60 mph. If you are a confident, safe rider, you can plan your route using the links below:

Student taxi services

Andy Cars offers discounted rates for Hartpury students. Show your student card to access these discounts.

Current rates are £15 into Gloucester (or Gloucester city centre to Hartpury) & £25 from Hartpury to Cheltenham (or Cheltenham town centre to Hartpury). Please note: pricing is subject to change in accordance with the external partner.

Ordering an Uber

When you order via Uber it will tell you the following:

  • Driver name
  • Photo of the driver
  • Who they are licensed with
  • Make, model, registration number and colour of the vehicle

If the vehicle is licensed with Gloucester City Council then there should be the yellow door signs on the vehicle saying Gloucester City Council and Uber.
