Become a Fully Qualified Dog Groomer in 6 Months or 1 Year!
Our Level 2 & Level 3 Combined Package can be completed with flexible scheduling options: attend classes 1 or 2 days a week.
How the Programme Works:
- Complete an Introduction Course or tutor interview
- Enrol on to the Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants course (16 sessions) and, upon completion, you’ll qualify* to apply for Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming at a discounted rate.
- Start the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming immediately (*after meeting tutor requirements).

Financial support is available for eligible applicants.
Additional Costs:
Students are required to purchase a Kit Bag or provide approved items from the kit list.
Things to note:
- Application involves an initial assessment in numeracy and literacy
- Pass rate, competency and tutor discretion will determine acceptance to level 3
- Self-directed study (homework) will be a requirement of the course
- Experience in a dog grooming salon is desirable

- Between 30 and 14 days prior to the course start date –50% refund of tuition fees*
- Less than 14 days’ notice – no refund of tuition fees
*an administrative fee of £50 will be deducted from the refund value.
If Hartpury postpones or cancels the course and is unable to provide an alternative date(s) any tuition fees will be refunded in full.
