Claire Whitworth

Career Overview

Claire has been the senior lead for Hartpury College academic activity since 2016, rated as Ofsted Outstanding in 2018 and again in 2024. Claire also holds strategic leadership responsibility for Hartpury University and Hartpury College Agri-tech and Agri-digital innovation resources and associated activity. Her previous roles over a 23-year period in the specialist land-based sector have included Head of Land-based Faculty, Head of Department for Animal Management and Veterinary Health and Curriculum Leader for Agriculture & Farm Mechanisation following a period of agriculture and large animal health and science lecturing. Claire is also the Ofsted Quality Nominee.
